Bridging Stories. Celebrating Kentuckiana.
Kentuckiana.net is a community-powered project that documents, uplifts, and connects the people, places, and creative energy of our region on both sides of the Ohio River. We publish original journalism, profiles, lists, awards, and art. We invite you to participate. This page shows you how.
Our Mission
We tell true, local stories with care and craft. We celebrate culture and history. We support artists, makers, organizers, and businesses who shape life in Louisville, Southern Indiana, and the counties beyond.
We focus on:
- People and profiles
- Neighborhood history and landmarks
- Arts and music scenes
- Food, drink, and small business
- Civic life and public services
- Events and regional happenings
What We Mean by “Kentuckiana”
Kentuckiana is the shared community centered on the Ohio River, including Louisville Metro and surrounding Kentucky counties, as well as Southern Indiana communities like New Albany, Jeffersonville, and Clarksville. Our coverage follows stories, not borders.
